montmartre was amazing - we only went there once during our 5 days and i wish we had gone there more. it's very touristy but i still loved it.
we went up inside the dome of the sacred basilica...i'm not usually scared of heights but for some reason that day i couldn't deal with it...of course my husband thought it was hilarious.
the streets were soo pretty
and the windows!

Oh wow that's taking me back. I LURVED Montmartre!! When we walked into Sacre Coeur the nuns were singing the liturgy. It was simply awe inspiring. Stunning pictures Sals.
I never made it to Montmartre, but seeing your pictures I wish I had! It seems as though you went at the right time. Much fewer crowds than when we went in the late spring/early summer. I got pretty frustrated trying to take photos with everyone walking through all the time.
i might go up in a dome- if i were heavily sedated.
I went up inside the Duomo in Florence. Loved it. I love views/heights. But I still fear falling, Sarah. I don't jump off diving boards, or cliffs, or airplanes or anything!
P.S. You should publish a calendar of photography. I'm so impressed!
Still wish we could go there...one day! They say dreams do come true, believe it when i see it!!!!
